For Boys and Girls Ages 6-13
The Rabito Golf Academy and Bolingbrook Golf Club professional staff will be conducting junior golf camps for the 2011 golf season. Our mission is to provide each junior golfer with the basic fundamentals of the golf swing, proper etiquette, rules, and an overall fun learning experience. This will be a structured environment conducive to learning.
The 2011 junior camps will divide boys and girls into age groups. Juniors age 6 to 9 years old (Birdies) will make up one group while juniors age 10 to 13 years old (Eagles) will participate in the second group. Both age groups will work on the basic fundamentals of the grip, set-up, swing, course etiquette, and short game. Juniors will also get a chance to play golf on our par 3 practice holes during the camp.
New for 2011, we have added a skills challenge that will take place each session. Winners of each challenge will qualify for an end of year skills championship where trophies will be awarded to the winners of each age division. The skills championship will take place on Saturday, August 21st along with a season ending barbeque open to all camp participants and parents.
All participants in the 2010 Junior Golf Program will receive:
- Six (6) hours of instruction.
- A Bolingbrook Golf Club and Rabito Golf logo towel
- Entry into the Putt, Chip and Drive competition on July 17th
- The opportunity to purchase Wilson junior golf clubs at wholesale prices
- Season ending barbeque on August 21st.
Applications must be received five days prior to the start of each camp to ensure that a 6:1 student to instructor ratio is maintained.
